CHA's food assistance program provides free, supplemental cat and dog food when available, to individuals facing economic challenges. This program helps keep pets and their families together during tough economic times. While some owners need pet food on a short-term, emergency basis, we also may provide pet food long term to individuals that may be unemployed, disabled or on government assistance. Provide proof of income (can include award letters for Social Security, unemployment, disability letter or medical cards, etc.) Provide photo ID - required to be approved All animals belonging to clients must be spayed or neutered (We can offer assistance if an animal is not altered) Call CHA find out more information (715) 682-9744
